The flowers on the Greek-inspired priestly vestment, also called \u201cice flowers,\u201d are surrounded by olive branches, symbolizing peace, and ears of wheat, symbolizing the Body of our Savior Jesus Christ. The epitrachelion is adorned on the chest with icons of the Savior and of the Mother of God holding the Child, and below with icons of the four Evangelists\u2014St. John, St. Luke, St. Matthew, and St. Mark (the icons can be replaced at the client\u2019s request at no additional cost). The lower part of the sticharion is embroidered in the same tone as the vestment, and on the front of the phelonion at the chest there are two medallions\u2014Jesus and the Mother of God\u2014beautifully embroidered. The back of the phelonion is embroidered with two angels who seem to reverently support the icon of the Mother of God; this icon can be replaced with another according to the client\u2019s preference, at no additional cost.<\/p>\n
