Embroidered vestment with floral motifs.
The Iviron Monastery on Mount Athos served as the inspiration for this design, and the embroidery style can be found in the workshops of the Cretan School from the 16th century.<\/p>\n
The floral motifs enrich this priest vestment with an extensive design that outlines the felonion from the front to the back, where it forms a central floral element. On the back, the icon of our Lord is prominently displayed, beautifully framed by floral branches. The epitrachelion is adorned at the top with the icons of Jesus Christ and the Mother of God, and below with the four Evangelists embroidered standing. The lower part of the stiharion borrows from the embroidery of the felonion, while the belt, cuffs, and coverings for the Holy Vessels are also embroidered to match the vestment. The white color is very suitable for serving the Holy Liturgy on Sundays and feast days throughout the year. <\/p>\n
The vestments are embroidered on lirino \u2013 a superior quality material specially for vestments. The exceptional quality of the embroidery threads and other materials that make up the vestments ensures that this product retains its beauty and durability over time. <\/p>\n
