The crosses as a sign of reconciliation and our deliverance from sin, embellish these priestly vestments, which by their very symbolism make it special. Each cross that adorns the vestment bears inside it the inscription IC XC NI KA- JESUS CHRIST CHRIST CHRIST THE BIRTHBURTIER, an inscription still used today for the sealing of the prescices.
