The priestly vestment is embroidered with sunflowers – a symbol of life, so present in the life and tradition of the Romanian people.

Sunflowers adorn the bottom of the chasuble all around, ending at the back with a central pattern that rises towards the embroidered icon of the Virgin Mary enthroned on the back of the chasuble, supported by a floral garland. The crosses harmoniously alternate with the sunflowers on the epitrachelion, and the cuffs, belt, and coverings for the Holy Vessels are also embroidered in tune with the rest of the vestment.

The color combination of the embroidery makes this vestment suitable for wearing both at the Feast of the Flowers and on Sundays and holidays throughout the year.
