The Voronet Monastery, nicknamed the “Sistine Chapel of the East”, was the inspiration for this simple and elegant vestment.

Elements that are found in the frescoes that decorate the exterior walls of the monastery were carefully combined, forming an embroidery that has as its central element the Holy Cross, and which ennobles the felon in the lower part around the circumference, the epitrahil and the other parts of the vestment.

The priest’s vestment is embroidered on lirino (a premium quality material especially for vestments), with gold thread in combination with blue silk thread in two shades. Also included in the vestment are the covers for the Holy Vessels, embroidered in the same color as the vestment.

The white color of the priest’s vestment is very suitable for the Mass of the Resurrection of the Lord but also for the Divine Liturgy on Sundays and Sabbaths throughout the year.

Upon request, the garment can be made in any color desired by the customer, and the embroidery is done in tone with the chosen color.
