The floral ornaments and late Byzantine arabesques found in Cretan workshops of the 16th century are the inspiration for creating this priestly vestment.

Embroidered solely with gold metallic thread, a symbol of divine light, this priestly vestment may be worn at the Paschal service as well as on Sundays and feast days throughout the year.
