Priestly Vestments Garden of the Mother of God

This expression that Romania is “The Garden of the Mother of God” was first recorded in the 15th century in Neamt county, following a miracle that took place at Bisericani Monastery during the time of Saint Iosif.

We found it fitting that nothing would be more appropriate to capture the beauty of a garden where the Mother of God would dwell than the rose – a symbol of beauty. The vestment’s embroidery, featuring multicolored roses, is made exclusively with silk threads to best capture the beauty and radiance of these noble flowers, combined with golden metallic thread to add a touch of elegance and preciousness.

The Mother of God adorns the back of the phelonion surrounded by a crown of roses, while the embroidered galloon with silk filigree thread outlines each element of the vestment.

The priestly vestment set is complete – including covers for the Holy Vessels.
