Embroidered priest vestments B-175 white
1.980,00 €
Embroidered vestment with Byzantine arabesques.
The 12th-century embroidery collection held by Hilandar Monastery on Mount Athos was the source of inspiration for this priestly vestment.
The Byzantine arabesques form a stylized cross that outlines the felonion all around and the lower part of the stiharion. The beauty of this vestment is also enhanced by the icons embroidered solely in gold and silver metallic thread — the Holy Trinity on the felonion and the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul on the epitrachelion.
The Holy Vessels are also embroidered in the same manner, and the embroidered trim outlining each piece of the vestment completes the beauty and refinement of the design.
The white color is very suitable for celebrating the Holy Liturgy on Sundays and feast days throughout the year.
White represents purity and the radiance of God’s grace. White priest vestments are usually worn at the Feasts of the Baptism of the Lord, the Transfiguration, and the Resurrection of the Lord. Considering that Sunday is the day of the Resurrection, these vestments may also be worn on Sundays and feast days throughout the year.
The exceptional quality of the embroidery threads and other materials that make up the vestments ensures that this product retains its beauty and durability over time.
Upon request, the vestment can be made in any color desired by the client, and the embroidery is done in harmony with the chosen color.
