The icons of the four Evangelists on the epitrachelion are beautifully framed by roses, a motif also found on the lower part of the stiharion. The cuffs, belt, and coverings for the Holy Vessels are enriched with the same floral motifs—roses—and the added elegance and beauty come from the embroidered trim that outlines each piece of the vestment.
