In Orthodox iconography, the peacock is a symbol of eternity; two peacocks drinking from a fountain or a chalice represent Christ and symbolize the Kingdom of Heaven.
We present to you another version of this model, which you can also find in the other color variants: white, cream, burgundy, and black.
The royal blue velvet is what makes this vestment truly special, as it has the ability to highlight the embroidery design in a unique and striking way.
On the lower part of the felon, all around, the priestly vestment is adorned with floral motifs supporting the peacocks that drink from a vessel, and on the back an icon is embroidered, framed by flowers that emphasize it.
The peacocks are also present on the epitrachelion, combined with crosses and framed by floral motifs. The lower part of the sticharion is embroidered with the same floral elements found on the vestment, and the coverings for the Holy Vessels are decorated in the same style.
The icon on the vestment can be replaced, at the client’s request, with the icon of another saint at no additional cost.
The velvet we use is cotton velvet, imported from Germany, of superior quality and very durable, and the embroidery threads are of exceptional quality, which contributes to preserving the beauty and durability of the vestment over time.
The blue color of these priest vestments is very suitable for the priest’s service at feasts dedicated to the Mother of God, as well as for Sundays and other feasts throughout the year.
These vestments embroidered with floral motifs can also be made on velvet in other colors: burgundy, white, green, or purple, and the embroidery will be matched to the chosen color.
