Embroidered priest vestments B-11 black
2.000,00 €
Embroidered vestment with floral motifs and arabesques.
The Iviron Monastery of Mount Athos served as the foundation and source of inspiration for this design, while the style of the embroidery reflects the workshops of the 16th-century Cretan school.
The black color of priest vestments symbolizes repentance and sorrow, and traditionally they are worn at funeral services during Great Lent, as well as at funerals or other religious services. Byzantine arabesques and floral motifs beautify this vestment through rich embroidery that adorns the felonion all around.
The icon of our Saviour Christ stands on the back, beautifully supported by floral elements—motifs that also appear on the epitrachelion, belt, and cuffs, as well as on the coverings for the Holy Vessels. The embroidered trim outlining each piece of the vestment adds an extra touch of beauty and elegance.
The exceptional quality of the embroidery threads and other materials that make up the vestments ensures that this product retains its beauty and durability over time.
Upon request, this embroidered vestment with floral motifs and arabesques can be made in any color desired by the customer, and the embroidery will match the chosen color.
