Embroidered priest vestments – B-2 burgundy velvet

Embroidered vestments with floral motifs and peacocks.
In Orthodox iconography, the peacock is a symbol of eternity; two peacocks drinking from a fountain or a chalice represent Christ and symbolize the Kingdom of Heaven.
The burgundy velvet is what makes this vestment truly special, as it uniquely highlights the embroidery design that adorns these priestly vestments.
On the lower part of the felon, all around, the vestment is decorated with floral motifs supporting the peacocks that drink from a vessel, and on the back a cross is embroidered, emphasized by the flowers that frame it.
The peacocks also appear on the epitrachelion, combined with crosses and framed by floral motifs. The lower part of the sticharion is embroidered with the same floral elements found on the vestment, and the coverings for the Holy Vessels are decorated in the same style.
At the client’s request, the cross can be replaced with an embroidered icon of a saint at no additional cost.
The velvet we use is cotton, imported from Germany, of superior quality and very durable, and the embroidery threads are of exceptional quality, contributing to the preservation of the vestment’s beauty and durability over time.
The burgundy color of these priestly vestments is very suitable for the priest’s service on feasts dedicated to holy martyrs, during the Nativity Fast, as well as on Sundays and feasts throughout the year.
The vestment can also be made on velvet of other colors: burgundy, white, green, purple, and the embroidery is done in tone with the chosen color.
